"300HP" LS Converted Stock Casting Cylinder Head Package
We have been planning this package for years and finally made it a reality for our budget minded customers. This is is our standard "300HP" package head and the budget head that made us look good on Youtube, but we made some key upgrades along the way.
For starters, we utilize a stock casting head that has been stripped, baked, blasted, guides fit to size, hardened exhaust seats, LS converted Stainless Steel 2.02"/1.60", Competition valve job, Spring seats machined for increased lift capacity, outfitted with a top quality LS valve train, Viton valve seals, milled, bowl blended, cleaned and assembled. The only difference in this head vs our competition head is full porting and balanced chambers.
What does all of this mean, now you will have a factory head that can run multiple valve spring options, that can run any cam with lift with capabilities over .600"(Factory is .460") with the ability to make over 300hp on a 4.0-5.0 liter engine. Depending on your build specs, displacement/compression/cam/etc, power output is typically 290-340hp/300-370tq.

We have changed our head production process and now these heads will all be custom built once your order is placed online and will normally take a 2-3 week turnaround time. Our competition heads are meticulously built from the ground up with all the upgrades and best parts such as: 2.02"/1.60" Stainless Steel 8mm valves, competition 5-angle valve job, fully hand ported and polished, beehive springs w/steel retainers and locks, upgraded Viton positive locking valve seals, custom machined spring seats for added cam lift capacity up to .600" lift, machined guide holes for optional HD 3/8" pushrods, all fully assembled and ready to bolt on. ***We recommend this style head for Strokers, Boosted applications, or 'Hot' upgraded 4.0/4.2 engines with upgraded cam, intake and header with increased rpm potential to reap the rewards

We also recommend a complimenting cam package, ported Intake, 60mm and larger throttle body, fueling upgrades(injectors/tuning/500CFM & up carb) and header collector size of 2.5" or bigger depending where you want your power band.
Undamaged cylinder head cores w/o cracks are "REQUIRED" or a core charge of $250 will need to be applied at checkout with all stock casting head orders.

They are based off of a 99-06 model design with coil pack mounts and a machined front idle pulley if needed. The exhaust port arrangement has been moved to allow them to be used for all prior 4.0 head applications and header designs. You can use the TUPY or Stock style gasket, place your int/exh gasket order based on the header design.
We also recommend a complimenting cam package, ported Intake, 60mm and larger throttle body, fueling upgrades(injectors/tuning/500CFM & up carb) and header collector size of 2.5" or bigger, depending where you want your power band.

CNC Port Matched 70mm Jeep 4.0 Intake Manifolds(Stock Castings)

We brought them back, that's right we now carry "CNC" Port matched Jeep 4.0 Stock Casting Intake Manifolds in all styles. If you are looking for that added kick in the seat of the pants this is an easy upgrade. Whether it's a stock 4.0 or a big stroker these manifolds will add hp and tq across the board with killer throttle response.
All manifolds are cleaned, blasted, resurfaced, bored and CNC machine gasket matched to our Copper intake/exhaust manifold gasket. The runners have been greatly opened up from the very restrictive factory injector bung area and the throttle body opening has been machined to 70mm if you decide to upgrade to an oversize throttle body. We now carry custom 70mm throttle bodies in Silver and Black.
You can simply choose your current year intake manifold or mix it up depending on where you want your power delivered. Make sure when choosing a manifold to select either your current year or the matching power steering mount pattern/style.
How to choose your manifold: The early Straight Runner Manifolds make great mid-range and top end power (Stockers or Strokers with a slightly aggressive cam will benefit in the upper power band). The later Curved Intake Manifolds absolutely make more power off idle for you low end to mid-range power lovers with those long runners and big plenum (Small cu in or small cam lower rpm seekers this is your intake).
If you are retrofitting an older straight runner to a newer curved style you will need to choose the "99-04 Curved w/o harness bosses.
**While supplies last we are offering our in house 60mm Taper Bore Throttle Bodies as an option, these work great on stock motor upgrades or low to mid rpm response.
***CORE REQUIRED, if you do not have a usable core of the same intake manifold as you purchased then you will have to choose and pay the associated core charge at checkout. If you do have a usable core then simply ship it back in the same box as delivered. You will be responsible for shipping charges.
****As of 01/09/24 we have added High Temp Cerakote coated intake manifolds to the options list. We have used this coating now for a few years on intakes, headers, etc with great success. This coating is good to 1,800 degrees and is currently available in Black or Silver to match our 70mm throttle bodies.
Sheet Metal Plenum 70mm Intake Manifold

Our sheet metal intake manifolds are based off 96-98 straight runner intakes. We remove the factory plenum, completely port intake runner to max capacity all the way through, fabricate and weld a larger sheet metal plenum, mill the intake flange flat and enlarge the throttle body opening to 70mm.
We have ran these on many different engine packages with great success over the years. To see the potential in this style intake you will need: a higher revving 4.0(Ported head/big cam)or a Stroker(Ported head/Cam), a ported head is a must to utilize the added airflow capabilities.
With the addition of this intake on a built Stroker with increased rpm potential, you will have potential huge gains in power(30-80hp) from the 3,000-7,000 range. On a big inch 4.8-5.0 Stroker that has good head potential with a smallish cam these work great from idle through the 6,000 rpm range and with a larger cam they just make more power.
These intakes only fit 96-06 or simply add the newer style power steering mounts to any older version then you can run this style intake. We recommend a 24lb minimum injector size, in most cases a 36-48lb injector will be required for NA builds.
When ordering you will need to provide a good salvageable 96-98 core, if not then you will need to pay the core charge. We have based the core procedure off "Good faith" on the customer part.

"Black-out" or "Quick-Silver" Induction Package 96-04 4.0 Ported Intake Manifold & Taper Bored 60mm Throttle Body.

We have created both a "Black-out" and a "Quick-Silver" induction package consisting of a ported 96-04 intake manifold w/o harness bosses and matching 60mm tapered throttle body that are both high temp Cerakoted. .
This combo can be used on anything from a stock 4.0 to a stroker. The smaller 60mm throttle body vs the larger throttle bodies work extremely well as a bolt on with great low end throttle response and drivability. If at some point you decide you want to go for the big 70mm throttle body we have you covered. These intakes already have the throttle body openings milled out to 70mm for just that reason.

When you need to seal up an engine for storage, shipping, that backup race motor or built head thats finished but not quite ready to install then protect it with these Cylinder Head Block Plates. These are designed for any 4.0 Jeep Cylinder head including aftermarket versions.
Extreme Duty Lifetime .060" Annealed Copper Intake/Header Gasket

This all-new custom designed Newcomer Racing exclusive "Copper" Intake/Header gasket answers the call for many issues related to the 4.0 based Jeep head. First off we list this as a lifetime gasket that can be reused time and time again with just a simple gasket cleaning and reapplication of the provided High Temp Silicone. Secondly it does not have to be trimmed like all stock gaskets to fit the stock or highly ported versions and it serves as a great porting template for our in house port designs.
We offer three designs to fit your needs: Stock(87-99)/Edelbrock, TUPY(99-06), then our updated True round port design for our 1/2" Stainless Steel Custom Header flanges for your custom header builds. Simply choose your head style at the checkout. Our Stainless Steel ARP fastener/Winged Washer kit compliments these gaskets well! As noted this wrapped gasket will come in an indestructo box with a full tube of high temp silicone for many uses if needed.
***Use your supplied silicone on both copper gasket sides, around the intake and exhaust ports. We normally keep the intake port coverage on the thin side, depending on the intake flange condition. The exhaust ports we apply more and allow adequate time to cure, overnight is best but not necessary. As far as the fastener torque, YES, which means damn tight! and recheck after a good heat cycle.
ARP 4.0 Int/Exh Stainless Steel Winged Washer Stud and 12pt Nut Kit
If for some reason our ARP Winged Washer/Bolt kit just isn't your flavor, then maybe this gorgeous ARP Stud kit will do the job.
Either combo will work great and be miles ahead of the ancient, clapped out, rusty stock units. This kit comes with all the required SS int/exh studs(11), with 12pt SS nuts and SS washers. NO MORE RUST!!!
We highly recommend always using anti-seize(Copa-Slip) on any stainless thread to avoid gaulding of the threads.
*** Questions we get asked regularly, which do you prefer?
-Customers have answered this one for us, we like them both equally, but for aluminum heads everyone prefers studs over the bolts. The studs do not twist and pull on the threads to damage the soft aluminum head, the bolt with repeated use will start to pull on the aluminum head.
-Also, how tight, YES, which means damn tight and recheck after a good heat cycle.
Stainless Steel Intake/Exhaust Flange Winged and Round Pinch Washer kit w/ARP 12pt Stainless Steel bolts.
We tried to answer the call for intake and header flange fitment issues with an alternative solution that looks much cleaner and never rusts. This newly designed Winged Polished Stainless Steel washer can be rotated to fit multiple locations or reach the intake casting that the factory round washer could not quite reach before and has enough bore clearance to allow the washer to articulate on uneven surfaces. This kit will feature (8)Winged, (3)Round-for exhaust ends/center and (11)ARP 12pt polished SS bolts.
