The "MEGA TORQUER" offers even more killer bottom end and midrange power, yet still having great top end power thanks to our Competition Cylinder Head. When you want that low end, stump pulling grunt, with all around great drivability, this is your build with a power band from Idle to 5500rpm's with a slightly noticeable idle. This package will include a 4.060" steel crank, forged full floating 6.125" rods, main girdle, baffled oil pan, billet timing set, micro-polished custom cam and lifters, long lasting quiet custom designed, fully floating and coated hypereutectic pistons w/lightweight 1.2/1.5/2.5mm rings for low drag, long life performance, 10.0:1(66cc Open chamber/Iron head) or 10.3:1 (63cc Closed chamber iron head) or 11.2:1(55cc Aluminum Edelbrock) compression set with proper quench set for a pump gas friendly combo, fully adjustable 1.7 ratio(Newcomer) next generation lightweight roller rocker arm setup with custom HD pushrods, our custom billet valve cover spacer package with a factory valve cover for proper fit and evaporative functions.
We recommend the following supporting mods: Intake manifold port match, Throttle body boring and taper porting, Header, 36lb(EV1) or 47lb(EV6) injectors(Depends on injector style), Cold air intake, 2.5" minimum exhaust tubing, Upgraded Clutch(Mcleod/Centerforce), Automatic upgrades depending on style(Stock converters work well on all), Custom tuning(Even on stock vehicles there's always gains), We recommend "Flyin Ryan Tuning" or in house tunes on builds.
***Every single engine that is built and sold through Newcomer Racing(least to most expensive) has the minimum following items performed during the build process: All Blocks are Ampro baked and SS shot blasted, magnufluxed, deburred, bored and torque plate honed, line honed, decked for proper quench, full rotating assembly balancing, every single bearing is checked and set to size, cam and lifters deburred and polished, heads resurfaced, guides honed to size, competition valve job, spring install heights set accordingly, cam preload or lash set, high zinc break-in oil used during the engine dyno session, new break-in oil installed before it ships to your location.
