The "MUTT" 4.7 Stroker 373.5hp/380.4ftlbs(NA), 635.7hp/615.8(Boosted)
We thought the "MUTT" motor had been sold to a customer expressing interest. But, that customer flaked out, so we decided to officially offer it up to the public.
This motor has been and is still amazing. We have tested so many new parts and innovations on this foundation. We completely went through the shortblock to verify the condition before our last big test, which was swapping it over to a billet cam(NR-127, "Boosted". We did not replace anything, since everything looked like brand new still. We did swap over one of our new CNC iron heads and verified power output of(373.5hp/380.4ftlbs, NA). Then we tested this setup on 10psi with a 3582 66mm Garrett turbo which resulted in (635.7hp/615.8ftlbs).
The "Mutt" has the following options: .060" Newcomer hypereutectic piston kit, bushed 6.125" scat rods w/2000 bolts, 12CW crank, NR-127 cam, Morel hyd. roller lifers, Rollmaster billet timing set w/torrington bearing, ATI balancer, 3/8" .080" wall pushrods, CNC iron head, MLS head gasket, custom head stud kit w/dowels, 1.7 adjustable roller rocker arms, billet VC spacer and perimeter retainers.
We are selling this motor as a complete longblock that has a separate turbo feed port and a turbo drain in the pan. You can run this motor as NA or boosted.
We recommend the following supporting mods: Sheet plenum intake or minimum intake manifold port matching, 70mm TB, Header, 36lb(EV1) or 47lb(EV6) injectors(Depends on injector style), Cold air intake, 3.0" minimum exhaust tubing, Upgraded Clutch(Mcleod/Centerforce), Automatic upgrades depending on style(Stock converters work well on all), Custom tuning(Even on stock vehicles there's always gains).
***Every single engine that is built and sold through Newcomer Racing(least to most expensive) has the minimum following items performed during the build process: All Blocks are Ampro baked and SS shot blasted, magnufluxed, deburred, bored and torque plate honed, line honed, decked for proper quench, full rotating assembly balancing, every single bearing is checked and set to size, cam and lifters deburred and polished, heads resurfaced, guides honed to size, competition valve job, spring install heights set accordingly, cam preload or lash set, high zinc break-in oil used during the engine dyno session, new break-in oil installed before it ships to your location.
