Forged ARP8740 4340 5.900" AMC/JEEP H-Beam "Newcomer" Connecting Rods

This is the first production custom forged H-beam 4340 5.900" connecting rod with ARP8740 bolts produced with all the correct dimensions of the wider AMC rod. If your wanting one bad to the bone drop-in rod for your stock or custom piston, we have it here with a pressed .931 pin for a stock AMC/Jeep.


These rods will work with a stock style 4.0 cast or hypereutectic piston combo. Instead of having to deck the block .030"-.035", we added .025" to the piston for increased compression and less deck milling. There has never been a short performance rod option until now.

Forged ARP2000 4340 6.125" AMC/JEEP A-Beam "Newcomer" Connecting Rods

This is the first production custom forged A-beam 4340 6.125" connecting rod with ARP2000 bolts produced with all the correct dimensions of the wider AMC rod. If your wanting one bad to the bone drop-in rod for your custom piston, we have it here with a full floating bushed .931" pin, with an oiling hole and radial groove for a stock AMC/Jeep.


These rods will work with our hypereutectic 4.8 piston kit, if you use a 4.060" stroke Eagle crank. This will make a 4.8-4.9L, depending on bore size. We added this piston option at the checkout.

Forged ARP2000 4340 6.300" AMC/JEEP A-Beam "Newcomer" Connecting Rods

This is the first production custom forged A-beam 4340 6.300"(vs stock long 6.125" or short 5.875") connecting rod with ARP2000 bolts produced with all the correct dimensions of the wider AMC rod. If your wanting one bad to the bone drop-in rod for your custom piston, we have it here with a full floating bushed .931" pin, with an oiling hole and radial groove for a stock AMC/Jeep.


These rods will work with our hypereutectic 4.8 piston kit, if you use a 3.895"(4.2L) stroke crank. This will make a long rod 4.6-4.8L, depending on the chosen bore size. We added this piston option at the checkout.

We have been building these stroker kits up and they are finally ready to ship out. This is our 300HP Stroker Rotating Assembly Kit. We have spend countless hours getting these kits on point. We start with excellent factory four counterweight lightweight cranks that are machined .010"/.010", deburred, polished and balanced within a .5 gram. The rods get the same treatment with ARP bolts and are all balanced individually for matched sets. We use hypereutectic coated pistons(14cc D-dish) with 1.5/1.5/4.0mm Moly ring packs and King bearings.


We make anywhere from 300-400hp with this setup NA and well over 600 on boost. This is the best bang for the buck when it comes to stroker kits.

4.8 Mega-Torquer Stroker Rotating Assembly Kit

Introducing our Mega-Torquer 4.8 AMC/Jeep 4.0 based Stroker kit, which includes: 4.060" Stroke fully balanced Eagle crank, 6.125" SCAT bushed connecting rods, 14cc dish custom designed coated hypereutectic pistons, 1.2/1.5/2.5mm low tension rings, King main and rod bearings, with ACL cam bearings to avoid the dreaded cam bearing failures of all other bearings.

You will not find a better, economical, piston and ring combo on the market that covers so many applications, such as: Daily drivers, weekend warriors, racing, boosted applications. There is no piston to valve clearance issues to worry about unless extreme head milling or high lift/duration cams are used.


We have built many different combos with these from extremely small cam combos to whopper cam combos. The minimum Hp made to date is 350hp and the most naturally aspirated is 428hp and over 700 boosted.


Modern designed rings(1.2/1.5/2.5mm) and it shows. When you compare shortblock turning torque and sealing properties there is no comparison. A normal fresh built factory style shortblock will have a turning torque of anywhere from 24ftlbs to 32ftlbs. Our bushed piston and ring package even with the longer stroke takes only 12ftlbs-16ftlbs to rotate and the sealing properties are awesome.


All of this means less wear, better sealing, less drag for much more power. You will need to have a quality machine shop set piston to cylinder wall clearances and deck block accordingly.


Compression ratios will differ depending on deck height, combustion chamber size, bore size, gasket thickness. Do your research on your exact combination. Here are a few example:


Bore-3.905"/Stroke-4.060"/Gasket Thickness-.041"/Deck Height-.000"/Dish-14cc/Chamber Volume-63cc=10.33:1


We prefer the following Piston/Ring clearances:

Hypereutectic 4.8 custom coated pistons/moly rings/wristpin package 14cc dish

We are finally offering our 4.8 "Mega-Torquer" custom hypereutectic coated skirt piston(factory sized 14cc dish)/(1.2/1.5/2.5mm) rings/(.931")pins package. This package is designed to work with a 4.060" crank x 6.125" rods(Mill deck accordingly, typically -.050" to achieve .000" deck).


Or, create a weird short deck combo like we did in the "Mutt Motor". We utilized a standard 4.2 crank(3.895" stroke) with a 6.125" rod, milled .150" off the deck and now we have a high revving low deck 4.6-4.7 stroker.


The ultra-low drag rings and skirts create a very efficient combo that makes zero noise(unlike forged options) and can make a lot of power, both NA and Boosted. We've made well over 400hp NA and 700 plus on boost.


**We prefer the following Piston/Ring clearances:


(Street) Wall clearance: .002"-.003"/Rings: Top .018"-.021" Second .018-.022"

Jeep AMC 4.0 4.2 Stroker (87-06) Direct Replacement ATI SFI Approved Harmonic Six Rib Serpentine Balancer Kit

We had to address our own issues and the Jeep/AMC community with the effects of upper rpm crank shaft harmonics and safety concerns with the only available options being factory replacement dampers. If you race or spin your 4.0 or 4.2 based Jeep/AMC engines above 5,000 rpm's then this kit should be on your wish list. The difference between a factory balancer and our ATI balancer on the dyno is totally night and day, silky smooth!!! The factory balancers tend to have a harmonic(vibration) or a pitch change starting sometimes as low as 5,000 rpm's. Our new billet hub and modified ATI balancer setup eliminates everything and we've twisted these to 7,000 rpm's without the thought of an issue and they are 2lbs lighter. You will also have the option to bolt on another front mounted pulley(Three bolts/ARP stainless 12pt) for that supercharger or added accessory with a common three bolt pulley pattern. Your kit will include: Pre assembled six rib serpentine balancer/damper with tapered flat head stainless bolts, (3)12pt Stainless ARP bolts(Added pulley option), black plated billet hub keyed and indexed to the factory zero timing mark(No more guessing on timing with 360 degrees of timing marks on the damper), Crank bolt(Reuse your factory thick washer), extreme pressure assembly lube, blue and red locktite with full assembly instructions. ***This listing is for SERPENTINE BALANCERS ONLY, not v-belt balancers.
